Among the pioneers joining China's first English-language TV channel CCTV-9, Sangye Yanling DUAN worked as Producer and Presenter introducing China's major cultural and natural designations to a weekly global audience of 30 million at the beginning of this millennium.

She has lived and worked in cities as vibrant as New York and Stockholm, as influential as Davos and Beijing, and as remote yet creative as Ibiza and Bali, as a cultural and creative leader in global initiatives.

Known as Water Woman for her Daoist practice, she has paid respect to hundreds of sacred sites, collecting water from the Himalayas to the Alps, from the Nile to the Yellow River, from the Dead Sea to the Aker River in Oslo. She designs and convenes global pioneers around water as the connecting tissue and foundation of personal health and planetary life.

Her latest book, Art of Presence, written during her artist residency by the Aker River in Oslo, reveals Dao philosophy and its application in designing space that hosts peace, connection and transformation through presence.
